April 21, 2017 – In an effort to educate teenagers about the perils of marijuana use and its negative effects on brain development, Westchester County leaders on Thursday joined dozens of students, community advocates, health professionals and members of the Westchester Coalition for Drug and Alcohol Free Youth for an event celebrating young people who choose to abstain from the drug. A little over a year ago we notified you, that as part of the Coalition’s competitive federal Drug Free Community Grant, we were required to gather information about alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among Croton students.
