Underage and Binge Drinkers Ages 12 – 20

From 2002 to 2014 underage alcohol use has dropped from 28.8% to 22.8%.

Underage binge drinkers is 1 in 7. Binge alcohol is defined as drinking five or more drinks on the same occasion on at least one day in the past 30 days.

These percentages were lower that the percentages in 2002 to 2012, but they were similar to the percentages in 2013.
